In previous post we dealt with multiple people enjoying one connection, in this one we tested several USB headphones required by some jobs and the need to cancel the noise around you so is not heard by the person you are talking with.
These are the headsets we tested.
Short and to the point.
If you need a headset just because, the Surf One is just fine along with the Logitech H390, both in the low price range, people will hear you by will also hear everyone around you.
Next step up is the JPL 400, which is advertised as a professional headset for long time wearing, and call center use. It does a good job cancelling the ambience noise being heard by the person you are calling, but they will still hear it. middle price range.
And at the top you have the Plantronics Encore pro 525 and the Jabra Evolve 75. Both impressive performance for cancelling the noice that your caller may hear. The Plantronics is in the high range for a wired usb headset and the Jabra has a USB dongle and is wireless making it the high end in this test, price and quality.
After all, if you are going to use these headsets for long periods of time and constant calling, the Jabra makes a good investment.
But writing can go so far, we had to make the video comparing a lapel mic and each headset microphone.
Here is is.
