1. Headlight Assembly
I used – WEELMOTO Headlights
But I also found these
- Perfect fit for 2006–2008 RAV4—chrome bezel, meets DOT standards (amazon.com)
- Durable ABS housing + UV-resistant lens—holds up in all weather (amazon.com)
- Installation is simple plug‑and‑play—no mods required
💵 Around $160 for the pair—slightly higher than others, but quality matches OEM and longevity is solid.
2. Bulbs – Brighter, Safer, Cleaner Look
Halogen options:
- Sylvania H11 Basic Halogen – reliable stock brightness, ~$12
- H11 SilverStar Ultra – whiter + ~20% brighter, rated ~507 lux (amazon.com)
Long-life picks:
- Osram H11 long-life – ~2000 hr runtime, good daylight performance (amazon)
LED upgrade:
- AUXITO H11 LED Bulbs (62000 LM) – ~600% brighter, 6500 K crisp white light
- AUXITO H11 LED (16000 LM) – solid brightness, focused cutoff for glare control
When choosing LEDs, ensure they mimic correct filament position for beam cutoffs.
3. Why I Went This Route
- My old headlight lenses were foggy and dull—this replacement brought back clarity, sealed out condensation, and gave the front a fresh factory‑look.
- Swapped to AUXITO LED bulbs and saw drastically better nighttime visibility—road signs and lane lines are crisp and clear.
- Before: Dull, yellowed lens & stock halogens
- After: Clear assembly + bright LEDs in action
